Photo Journalism

Photojournalism is a different form of journalism (mostly the collecting, editing, and presenting of news material for publication or broadcast) that creates images in order to tell a news story. Photojournalism is distinguished from other close branches of photography (e.g., documentary photography, social documentary photography, street photography or celebrity photography) by both of them having to do with news around our society today.

Like other types of portraiture, the focus of the photograph is usually the person's face, although the entire body and the background or context may be included, the main focus is the face/ facial expression.
