Demonstrates the Edge of Frame because the focus of the image is not in the centre, so it draws the eyes away to the bottom of the picture or wherever.Edge of Frame pictures are normally used when the photographer wants to take the focus of the eyes away from the centre and focus on the detail around the frame which would normally get overlooked at just a usual picture that was taken.

This is an example of edge of frame placement. 

The main point of this photo is placed a little out of frame creating a sense of mystery, because the entire subject is not seen. This photo is pretty effective because it uses the combination of strong shapes and effectively directs our eyes straight to the main point. The edge of frame placement creates a sense that the subject and the environment are equal.
